Four D€@d, 16 Injured as Container Truck Overturns on Bus in Lagos.
Four people have been confirmed d€@d and 16 others injured after a container truck overturned onto an interstate Toyota Hiace bus on Berger Bridge, inward Eleko, along the Ibeju-Lekki Expressway, Lagos, on Wednesday morning.
LASEMA said preliminary findings indicated that the truck was travelling at excessive speed before the cr@sh.
Emergency responders, FRSC officials and police rescued the victims, with the injured taken to Epe General Hospital for treatment.

President Bola Tinubu has asked the Senate to approve a proposed external borrowing plan for 2026–2027, valued at approximately $20.52 billion and €1.045 billion.
The request was conveyed in a letter read by Senate President Godswill Akpabio during Tuesday’s plenary. Tinubu explained that the proposed loans would help address Nigeria’s infrastructure funding needs and finance key sectors, including power, transportation, agriculture, healthcare, education, water supply, security, job creation, and reforms in financial management.
