He is saying that it is forbidden to establish a government with elected representatives of the colonised national group that the state is exterminating, displacing, and replacing with settlers, and that refuses the ideology advocating for its own erasure.
“It is forbidden—simply forbidden—to endanger Israel and to establish a government that relies on anti-Zionist Arab parties.” Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said a coalition with Arab parties to form a government would be “a shame and a disgrace"

Did you criticize Israel's Central Elections Committee when it tried to ban the Arab parties? Did you criticize Netanyahu when he warned that "Jewish women from the left are leading Arab women voters to the polls"? Did you criticize the Jewish parties that said they would never join an Arab party in government? If not, I'd sit this one out.
Israel’s Arab citizens, men and women, are turning out in historic numbers to vote. They can vote, run for office, and serve in the Knesset, rights denied to many Arabs and women across much of the Middle East. Our critical ally in the fight against terror, Israel, is the only democracy in the region, and today shows it.

It's a pretty remarkable level of ignorance, a stunning achievement in its own right
“Arabs don’t produce literature” is really something you can only say if you’ve never had a moment’s contact with genuine civilization. A mind totally consumed by television and self-help books.

Nope. Palestinian citizens don’t serve in the army. Only Druze
Correct @BarakRavid & I should have stated it that way! 10 million ppl in @Israel 8m Jews, 2m Arabs. ALL are Israeli citizens-Jew, Muslim, or Christian. All vote, serve in IDF, in Knesset, & proudly have Israeli passports. Women equal to men. All have free speech.

What you call the “Jewish center” were parties (Bennett, Liberman) every analyst considered as far-right a few years ago.
If Israel's current exit polls hold, the parties representing the Jewish center will have to make a choice: partner with Arab parties or else keep Bibi in power. A pretty clear metaphor for the choice facing Israel more broadly.

Some of the sharpest analyses of Israeli politics come from Daniel Levy. This should be subtitled in every language. Short, clear, impeccable.
Daniel Levy | Former Israeli Peace Negotiator | US/Middle East Project (@USMEP): Netanyahu did not alone commit genocide for 3 years. He did not alone maintain decades of illegal occupation. It was system-wide. Eisenkot was part of it & served in the military. He sat in the emergency unity security cabinet after Oct. 7 - during the genocide. Israeli generals, soldiers & judges - all part of a system-wide mobilization. Dissenting voices existed but remained marginal.

One of the winners in the election today, new Knesset member
Israeli politician Moshe Feiglin says Jewish morality requires killing the babies of your enemies. "Because I'm Jewish, and I guess I'm a little bit weak morally, I don't want to see babies being killed," but "morally that's what should have been done," Feiglin says. "If we would have done [to] Gaza...what the Americans did in Nagasaki…this movie NAZA…would have never came. The world would be with us just as they were with us after we won the Six-Day War."

In real world, not theoretical terms, there is zero possibility that Israel will offer citizenship to the Palestinians of East Jerusalem, much less impose it. And it is highly unlikely that more than a small minority of Palestinians would embrace citizenship. The Palestinian citizens of Israel demonstrate that complex identities are possible, and while there may be tension between being simultaneously Israeli and Palestinian, there is no inherent contradiction The situation with the Palestinians is quite different. Both Israelis and East Jerusalem Palestinians reject the notion that the latter are in any way Israeli. The Palestinian citizens of Israel seek their fair share of Israeli society in a way that is compatible with their Palestinian identity. The East Jerusalem Palestinians, however, do not aspire to be Israeli, and Israel seeks to rule the territory East Jerusalem without making its residents part of Israel. Over time, the Israeli occupation of East Jerusalem is not sustainable.

Annnnnd there we go. It was never about Netanyahu.

Israel is NOT a democracy! A democracy grants equal citizenship to all its subjects. Israel's "democracy" excludes 6 million Palestinians whose lives it completely controls; it keeps 8 million more shut out in exile; & it passed a 2018 nation-state law that officially designated the 2 million Palestinians with Israeli citizenship as 2nd class citizens. That decades-long demographic engineering to maintain an 80% Jewish majority is the exact opposite of a democratic system. Liberal democracy means equal protection & rights for all citizens. Israel's ethnonationalism privileges a core national or ethnic group. The two cannot be combined! An "ethnic democracy" (Israel's system) is a contradiction in terms. It doesn't uphold the principles of political equality and non-discrimination because it structurally privileges one ethnic group over another. Institutionalized ethnic dominance inherently relegates minorities to a secondary political or symbolic status, creating systemic instability and limiting equal protection under the law. That's why Human Rights Watch concluded that Israel maintains an apartheid system between the River and the Sea, including against Palestinian citizens of Israel.

The Jews are the only extant indigenous people of the land of Israel. The people who colonised it were Romans, Christians, Arabs and Muslims. Zionism is the ultimate decolonisation movement. The genocidal child-murderers are Hamas-led Palestinian Arabs and the Iranian regime. Get something above your own neck other than ignorance and knuckle-dragging bigotry.
