THIS IS PC ALLAN RICHARDS ONE OF THE MOST VILE CHILD SEX OFFENDERS EVER TO WEAR A WEST MIDLANDS POLICE UNIFORM! 40 CONVICTIONS. 17 VICTIMS. CHILDREN AS YOUNG AS EIGHT. DECADES OF SEXUAL ABUSE, INCLUDING RAPE! THIS MONSTER USED HIS POLICE BADGE AND POSITION AS A SCOUT LEADER TO GROOM AND ABUSE VULNERABLE BOYS! COMPLAINTS WERE MADE IN 2000 AND 2004. NO PROSECUTION FOLLOWED. HE KEPT HIS POLICE JOB UNTIL RETIREMENT! SIX VICTIMS WERE ABUSED AFTER THE FIRST POLICE INVESTIGATION! HIS PUNISHMENT? 22 YEARS BEHIND BARS! AND THE FINAL INSULT? ONLY HALF HIS POLICE PENSION WAS FORFEITED — MEANING HE WILL STILL BE PAID HALF OF HIS PENSION. MEANWHILE IT'S THIS EXACT SAME POLICE FORCE THAT KEEPS HARRASSING OUR CO-FOUNDER AND SEND SEVEN OFFICERS TO HIS DOOR AT 2:30AM IN THE MORNING. THE FORCE HAD A CHANCE TO STOP HIM BUT THEY ALLOWED HIM TO CONTNUE. AN ABSOLUTE DISGRACE TO THE POLICE UNIFORM AND ONE OF THE MOST SICKENING BETRAYALS OF PUBLIC TRUST!

On Thursday I wrote about the 2014 injunction Russell Brand obtained against a woman who accused him of assault. I've now obtained the final order. It's breathtaking. She had no lawyer. No trial. Yet she was silenced for life - even barred from speaking to the police. 🧵:

An important piece from @Ciara__Bergman. Rape myths and stereotypes continue to shape how survivors are questioned and their credibility assessed. We must challenge these assumptions at every stage of the justice process, including in our courtrooms. inews.co.uk/opinion/one-deta…

Men who, following a rape conviction, fly into a panic about being "falsely accused" of rape, are in fact panicking about being convicted of rape they committed and evaded justice. So they try to lay their defense preemptivelly by using DARVO - reversing victim and ofender.

For all those people asking why women (and men) fail to report sexual assault in a timely manner … here’s a handful of reasons … - Fear of not being believe - Shame - Fear of being blamed - Fear of retaliation. - Psychological trauma (PTSD) - Fear of public exposure - Fear of family/ friends reactions (anyway I can report this without A finding out) - Financial dependence on the offender (big one when co-habitant) - Threats or intimidation - Power imbalance - Fear of police involvement or distrust of the justice system - Fear of having their sexual history scrutinized (sex workers hardly ever report) - Self-blame (perhaps I brought this on myself) - Childhood abuse not understood until adulthood - Just wants to put it behind them - Fear of being judged by other rapey cunts on Twitter I bet I could think of another 20. #RussellBrand

Judging by comments on here in relation to #RussellBrand there is still a massive misunderstanding as to what constitutes ‘evidence’ in a criminal trial. If a woman (or man) tells their account in court about an event, THAT is evidence. And it is sufficient evidence to convict.

If you’re wondering how hard it is to get a rape conviction, it took six women, all of whom testified against him, to get the jury to believe he raped only one of them. Now imagine how hard it is when a woman on her own is trying to get justice against her rapist.
