We finally get to see Jean not getting done fucking dirty and the true might of a telepath. X3 did my girl Jean grey so fucking dirty. Apocalypse did the same thing where they don’t have the Phoenix as its own cosmic entity, like it must have been a part of her rather than powerful in her own might.
Jean has been so mishandled throughout the film adaptations of her, so it was an utter delight.

When I was like 18, a friend of mine was a CNA, getting gas to fill up his tank on the way to work while watching cars at the intersection when he witnessed a 17 year old in a suburban mow down a family on bicycles. The kids were about 10 and 12 years old. He ran over to them immediately.
He checked on the 12 years old and dad before realizing they were both dead. Then he did cpr on the 10 years old, her sibling’s blood on his face and scrubs until paramedics got there and saved her life.
The 17 year old driver?
He was texting.
Don’t text and drive. Don’t distracted drive. Don’t be the reason anyone has to hear “I’m sorry your kid didn’t make it.”
