In less than a week, Texas' child welfare agency removed their suicide hotline for LGBTQ youth at Abbott’s request, and successfully banned trans kids from participating in school sports.

Vote NO on Prop A. Even more proof that Prop A, if passed, would have an enormous negative impact on public safety as a whole, as well as other essential City services.
NEW: After initially staying out of the Prop A fight, @AustinEMSAssoc is now OPPOSING the ballot measure. EMSA joins the Austin Firefighters Association in opposing Prop A, meaning both public safety labor groups are throwing their weight against the ordinance.

Because of Texas Republicans’ bill banning education on racism and sexism, Texas teachers are being pushed to add Holocaust denial into their curriculum.
