This time of year is tough for our at-risk students. The consistency and love the receive every day from their teachers, para's, administrators, etc., is going away. Remember this when they act out. They are scared and confused. #loveemupteachemup

Having been in a number of schools in the last month in various roles, I have to share: There are few worse looks than staff on their cell phones in public areas (hallways, locker banks, office) and ESPECIALLY in the classroom. This sends a bad message to our kids/communities.

Educators - Our job is one of the hardest jobs in the world and it takes a love and passion to make a difference to do it well.
Boy, there is so much here...the level of anxiety us anxious folks feel is ALWAYS higher than what the reality is. Remember this young and perspective teachers! You are going to be nervous for interviews, tough parent meetings, etc., but "you've got this." Trust me!
