Today’s episode of Do Man stuff
My wife was upstairs cooking breakfast and she came down and told me that our whirlpool oven was “clicking” and worked for the first batch of bacon but wouldn’t heat up.
Turns out, the oven igniter board is arcing across the traces, but the stovetop ignites and works with no problem.
So today we’re doing one of my least favorite things. Working on household appliances.
Why are these parts so damn expensive ? They’re generally single layer PCBs, and they’re definitely mass produced.
So why is an OE replacement igniter board $140+ and why was the newer revision so difficult to cross reference ?
Shoutout to @grok coming in clutch finding a local supply house, but I won’t have the part until Tuesday at the earliest.

If the past few years have taught us anything, it’s that the so-called “conspiracy theorists” who were written off as kooks are often the ones actually telling the truth.
We’re putting these theories to the ultimate test. Watch Shadow Figures coming to TCN November 5.

Holy Shit: WIRED reports an Accenture contractor gave a Claude Code agent admin access to NIPRNet, an unclassified Pentagon network, to write and deploy code. It ran for two months, apparently sending login credentials, passwords and a network map to a third-party site NIST had flagged as high risk.
Contractors must report breaches within 72 hours, yet sources say Accenture initially didn't report it at all. A source calls it "100 percent a national security threat."

🇺🇸 🚨 GLOBAL SECRET GROUP CLAIMS ATTACK ON US TELECOM PROVIDER TDS
The Global Secret Group extortion crew has listed TDS Telecommunications LLC (TDS Telecom), a Madison, Wisconsin–based provider of fiber internet, TV and phone services with about $1.3 billion in annual revenue, as a new victim on its leak site.
The listing, dated Oct 29, 2026, gives no details yet on what data was allegedly taken, and no samples have been verified.
The claim has not been independently verified, and TDS has not publicly confirmed an incident.
⚠️ Analyst Note:
TDS serves more than a million residential and business connections across rural and suburban US communities, so a genuine compromise could expose subscriber account data and network details. This is the second extortion claim against TDS this year: a different group listed the company in May 2026, and no breach was ever disclosed. Treat this as an UNVERIFIED threat-actor claim, NOT confirmation of a breach.

In addition to providing the required notice of the security breach to the Office of the Attorney General pursuant to section 501.171, F.S., FLDOE is partnering with the Florida Digital Service and the Florida Department of Law Enforcement in its response to the event.
The Department remains committed to transparency and will provide additional information as verified details become available.

‼️ UPDATE ON THE BINANCE HACK:
Whoever emptied a Binance hot wallet had 50 authorisations signed with that wallet's own private key, on-chain data shows.
Under Ethereum's EIP-7702, an authorisation is a signed permission that lets a wallet hand control of itself to code.
Each one works only for the wallet's next transaction number, its nonce. Binance's wallet was still sending transactions, so that number kept moving.
The sender didn't know which number would be live, so they packed all 50 into one transaction, Blockaid says. One matched.
That one installed a sweeper contract on the wallet. Blockaid found that only the Tornado Cash-funded sender can operate it.
Minutes later it emptied the wallet of $1.6B in USDT, 167,464 ETH and 60+ other tokens.
Only that key, or the system that holds it, can produce those signatures. How the sender got them is unknown.
Across Ethereum, Bitcoin and Tron, at least $5.57B left Binance-linked wallets.
Binance says user funds are "completely safe" but has not explained how.
They’ve got us paying attention to midterms, the World Series, and Football while the market is failing.
Bread and circuses.
There it is.
Over 60% of the S&P 500's components are now in bear market territory, down -20% or more from their record highs.
Four of the Magnificent 7 stocks are now in bear market territory, with these seven names erasing a combined -$4 trillion in market cap since their highs.
We are in a "stealth" bear market.
And, we believe it's a huge opportunity as we outlined below on October 15th.
Everyday is Zeroday
BREAKING: Binance has been hacked with wallets across the Ethereum, Bitcoin, and TRON networks seeing outflows of -$5.7 billion.
The hack includes $1.45 billion worth of Bitcoin and $875 million worth of ETH.
If confirmed, this would mark the biggest hack in crypto history.
We expect more information shortly.
