49ers lost a game here in Atlanta 2 years ago that shared some similarities with this one. Fumble-6 for the Falcons, multiple giveaways from SF, shoddy defense (missing Bosa that time, too) led to no pressure/too many easy Atlanta throws.
SF traded for CMC a few days later, got guys back, and went on a run shortly after that

- The 49ers lost the turnover battle 4-0, committed multiple dumb penalties, missed an extra point and their special teams coverage was terrible. Anytime a team plays like that, they deserve to lose
- Brock Purdy needed to play like an MVP and he didn't while being shorthanded at WR
- Raheem Morris had his worst day as the Niners DC
- 49ers defense couldn't get to Michael Penix all day. That's concerning, given he can't move
- This game had trap game written all over it and that's exactly what it ended up being
- 49ers haven't played well for six quarters. Bye week comes at a good time
