If Gadi Eisenkot and the opposition bloc are remotely serious about getting rid of Netanyahu, and about Israel’s democratic future, they’ll do the obvious, strategic, and non-racist thing of forming a government with the Arab parties.

To achieve this “tremendous” result, the IDF forcibly displaced 780 families from their homes in Hebron: 4,969 people in total, including 312 with chronic illnesses, 44 with disabilities, 216 pregnant or breastfeeding women, 441 adults aged 60 or older, and 336 children under the age of two.
The IDF’s operation in Hebron has nothing to do with security. It is an act of collective punishment.
⭕️ COUNTERTERRORISM OPERATION IN JUDEA & SAMARIA:
Following last Friday’s shooting attack in Hebron, in which Staff Sergeant Ron Yonatan Roytman and Sergeant Yuval Shai Svilem fell, security forces continue operating to thwart terrorism in the area.
During the operations, 6 suspects were apprehended, including an individual affiliated with Hamas. The suspects were allegedly involved in terrorist activities, including planning and facilitating terrorist attacks.
Additionally, forces confiscated weapons including an M16 rifle, knives, a vest & a replica gun.
The IDF will continue operating to thwart terrorism and maintain security throughout Judea and Samaria.

The “operation” in Hebron looks just like an election campaign at the expense of thousands of Palestinians. IDF commanders wanted to end it, but Netanyahu ordered it to continue. If you think this is unprecedented, listen to a soldier who testified to us in 2003:
“We were called into Jenin—an election call-up. Everyone knew we were imposing a curfew on Jenin because of the elections. There was no operational purpose to taking over houses. It was all about bringing life to a standstill. We were bringing life in Jenin to a standstill.”
