Our condolences go out to the friends and family of Bob Power, legendary Grammy nominated record producer, engineer and musician who passed away March 1. Bob was instrumental in crafting many Tommy Boy releases from Stetsasonic, De La Soul and throughout Hip-Hop, Soul and R&B. 🕊️

RIP Ka, rap's greatest minimalist, Brownsville's finest, inimitably dedicated himself to his city & craft. The master of quiet rage, writing zen koans with unremitting soul & passion. Pain, grief & wisdom in every bar. An artist as pure & real as anyone who ever spit cold facts.

Could argue over which of the first 2 albums is the best all day long.
But the best song - in my opinion - on any of these albums is on Death Certificate (“A Bird In The Hand”).
Some recent-ish pick-ups to get to.
Some newer stuff… some older stuff re-pressed… yet another copy of Breaking Atoms!
Hearing this was released 30 years ago today… me and @GialloPoint still love this album to death
