MKU’s growing partnership with Morocco is entering a new chapter with an upcoming manufacturing facility in the SGZID Zone, marking an important step towards strengthening local capabilities in advanced electro-optics and personal protection solutions, including helmets, body armour and shields.

India-based defence technology company MKU Limited @MKUofficial plans to establish a manufacturing facility in Morocco’s SGZID Zone in Nouasser, producing electro-optic systems and armour solutions for the Moroccan and wider African markets.
The project expands MKU’s cooperation with Morocco’s armed forces, which has developed over the past five years. During that period, the company supplied Morocco with optronics and personal protection products.
The planned facility will bring part of that activity into local manufacturing. It will produce equipment from MKU’s Netro Optronics and Kavro Protection portfolios.
The products include multi-sensor electro-optic systems for surveillance, reconnaissance, situational awareness and target acquisition. The facility will also produce body armour, ballistic helmets, shields and armour for military platforms.

- The facility will serve as MKU's base for exports to the African continent.
