Jason Bateman reveals the secret to having a long lasting marriage
"I married a friend, as opposed to a girlfriend. That was a big one for me because... the girlfriends that you had before this current marriage you're in didn't last. You break up with girlfriends. I found that I didn't break up with friends."
"What was keeping me with my friends? What was that dynamic? What did I like about them, what did they like about me, who was I when I was with them?"
"Find someone you're sêxually attracted to that's also a friend."
"Amanda I knew was that for many years before she agreed to go out with me, and really before I deserved to go out with her. I was still working out a bunch of other crap, and she sensed that."

Doug Funnie reveals his portfolio allocation and explains he still holds $PEPE
Doug: "95% of my portfolio is Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, and a smattering of large caps rounded out by older meme coins like Pepe"
Sats: "You still hold $PEPE?"
Doug: "When things heat up, people chase beta. ETH whales need good liquidity, and Pepe is a multi-billion dollar coin with unparalleled distribution"
"Ethereum whales reflexively pile into Pepe. When ETH went up 20%, Pepe went up 80%, a four to one ratio that has held... Stuff like Pepe is basically a 3x to 5x unliquidatable leveraged play on the underlying L1 token"
"I don't think Pepe is going to 100x, but if you want 5x on your $ETH, this coin put in a reliable, year long range low"
"Capping your downside risk is super important; this isn't a new ephemeral narrative that's guaranteed to go to zero.... the worst-case scenario is it goes down 30%... the return profile is super attractive to me"

Greeny reacts to $PEPE reclaiming $2B market cap while the supply on exchanges reduces drastically.
"PEPE reclaimed a $2 billion market cap earlier in the week. Can this meme coin lift altcoins? That's the real question."
"Notably, exchange supply has jumped.. 2 trillion Pepe reversing over 40% from earlier outflows. Pepe not only increased in price, but supply on exchanges has been going down."
"It seems as though supply is moving off exchanges. Is that bullish, is that bearish? I don't know."
"It did break out. It has broken out, and there's not many charts that look okay... and this looks okay."
"You had a little bit of a breakout. Not much volume, though, is the query."
"We had a little bit of an increase in volume, but not really what you want to be seeing. Do you ever think we see volume like this again on exchanges for meme coins? I really don't know."

ethereum:0x6982508145454ce325ddbe47a25d4ec3d2311933 has never rallied while ethereum:native bled. Not once.
ETH ETFs bled $1.2B this month, bringing ethereum:native down -13% on the month. Meanwhile on Oct 2, Canary amended their filing for the PEPE ETF to file for a Cboe listing, approval is on the horizon.
Since then, Justin Sun quietly built a $51M position, in addition to every single major exchange is posting frogs including the Coinbase CEO (@brian_armstrong) is posting frogs.
Never in the history of ethereum:0x6982508145454ce325ddbe47a25d4ec3d2311933 has it decoupled from ethereum:native like this.
This is a HISTORICAL moment, and arguably the moment everything changes for crypto. The memecoin ascension trade is here
Short ethereum:native . Long ethereum:0x6982508145454ce325ddbe47a25d4ec3d2311933.
ethereum:0x6982508145454ce325ddbe47a25d4ec3d2311933 will flip ethereum:native on this run, bookmark this tweet and check back a long time from now.
Tulip King explains why he could comfortably bet 150% of his net worth on $BTC instead of chasing hot altcoins
"My portfolio construction is entirely based on convictions, and then building the most rational positioning around those convictions"
"I was at 150% of my net worth in Bitcoin for a very long time"
"At the end of DeFi summer and the bottom of FTX, the macro environment started to turn, and Bitcoin was holding up"
"Everyone said you don't want to own Bitcoin in a bull market because it gets outperformed by everything else. I took the contrary take"
"I realized this would be the first cycle where Bitcoin dominance actually goes up"
"You can get infinite cheap leverage on Bitcoin and hold it for a long time without checking the charts every day"
"I don't care about making the coolest trade; I want to get rich. I optimize for return on net worth"
"It's not about what the chart does, it's about what you can get out of the chart"
"The downside is limited, you watch ETF flows, and you chill. I'll take the easiest trade every time"

History never repeats, but it often rhymes
$PEPE skipped the initial $240M range that $DOGE had established and ran straight to $1.8B before retracing all the way back to $240M.
$DOGE, on the other hand, only retraced to $850M because it had already built a higher base at $240M instead of starting from zero.
From there, $PEPE exploded from $240M straight to $13B, once again skipping the range in between. Meanwhile, $DOGE climbed from $850M to $13B.
When both retraced, $DOGE held a higher floor again at $2.7B because it had established that $850M base earlier. $PEPE fell further, to $950m, having never built that same foundation.
Both ran to $1.8B before retracing. Both ran to $13B before retracing.
So the question is: Will $PEPE skip the range again?
Could $PEPE go from $950m straight to $97B?
That's up to your imagination to decide.
There is no cap on a meme. Market cap is the meme.
BTC itself is a meme.
Memecoins behave differently from most traditional assets. Instead of experiencing diminishing returns with each cycle, their moves can become increasingly parabolic, with each leg more explosive than the last.
Something else worth noting: On the second leg, $DOGE retraced to $850M while $PEPE fell to $240M, a difference of roughly 70%.
Applying that same 70% decrease to $DOGE's third-leg retracement of $2.7B would put $PEPE at around $800M, remarkably close to the $950M level it actually reached.
Tulip King explains why fighting the market is a losing bet and why traders must listen to its signals.
Jason: "How important is it to understand that the market is always right and you're never right relative to the market? You are only in the flow with it or you're not in the flow with it. Was there a particular trade where you realized that that was the case, or is that something that you've always known to be true?"
Tulip King: "I've actually evolved how I think about that. There was definitely a time where I was a 'market is always right' type of guy. But the one thing I will say is, definitionally, when you take a trade, you're inherently betting that the current market price is not the actual fair price. If you're trading, you're betting the market is wrong"
"The way I think about it now is more so that the market is signal, and it's a really, really good signal."
"When you buy something and it goes up, that's confirmation that you were right. When you buy something and it doesn't go up, you might not even be wrong, but there's clearly something you didn't understand. There were either flows moving in a way you didn't think or some bear case that you didn't understand."
It's about having the diligence to ask: why is this thing not going up right now? Why isn't the market validating me? The lack of signal is a signal in itself"
"It's less that the market is always right. It's true that the market is the only thing that pays, but it's more so that it's signal"
"Zcash versus $XMR is a great example of this. I bull-post Zcash a lot because I love it, and I always get the XMR maxis in my replies. There's this debate about this or that. I always feel kind of like a dìck when I reply, 'Well, look at the price.' But what I mean by that is very charitable. I want to engage in the conversation of why I think Zcash has outperformed XMR"
"Once I had that understanding, it evolved my thesis of Zcash $ZEC, built incredible conviction, and led to a huge size position for me that's been awesome"
"I reply to all the Monero maxis, whom I love; privacy is dope, and I hope Monero succeeds too but humble yourself before the market a little bit. Take that signal seriously."

Tulip King says Ansem is his favorite trader at the moment
Jason: "Who's your favorite trader?"
Tulip King: "It changes all the time but honestly, Ansem, though"
"Being the main character in crypto is usually a death sentence, but if you can be the main character and a hell of a trader, I mean"
"He's one of the people who like lives up to the hype"
Tulip King breaks down how to stay comfortable making small bets before taking a big swing on a high conviction trade.
"It's intuition and bankroll management at the end of the day."
"I have over half a million dollars long on Eli Lilly, but I also have $200 of $ZCAT"
"I probably check that position more than I check the Lily position."
"The way I stay in that game is I got super comfortable making embarrassingly small bets just to see it on my screen."
"Whenever I check the app, I see it and I'm aware of it."
"I lost that money, but it taught me something about market conditions."
"It’s just about bankroll management, not being afraid to buy and tweet about a coin you have $200 of just because you want to get involved and learn from the moment."

CT moves too fast to keep up with, so I'm doing it for you.
Every night I will summarize the drama, news and chaos you missed in one post. No scrolling for hours. Follow so you're never the last to know 🫡
1. @mikadontlouz posted her dev wallet's private key instead of the CA. 500M $MIKA got dumped for ~380 SOL in seconds. CT is split: real mistake or staged? Sleuths point to a nonce account
2. @Jason told people to dump BTC and called a $57K retest. @GrantCardone, @dotkrueger and Terence Michael each offered $1M bets on a new ATH. @brian_armstrong: "Don't make us start an inverse-Calacanis index"
3. CoinDCX CEO @smtgpt called the $16M breach reports a "false alarm." @zachxbt said the co-founders "straight up lied or are negligently incompetent" and told users to withdraw. CoinDCX confirmed a 15.99M USDT loss it's absorbing, and the CEO now says the dismissal "was my mistake"
4. One ETH short got liquidated 13 times in 9 days: 18,080 ETH ($43.9M) wiped, $1.14M of a $1.25M deposit gone
5. $LAUNCH: the uselaunch dev posted that it's over and the socials vanished. CT is calling it a rug
6. Coinbase says vendor Amplitude leaked contact info for a "small subset" of users, funds safe
7. 🏦 Fed held at 3.75-4% in a 10-2 vote, 2 members wanted a hike. December hike odds ~83%
8. 🇨🇦 Bank of Canada hiked to 2.5%, its first hike since July 2023
9. 💰 BTC ETFs +$176M on Oct 27, ETH ETFs -$60.2M
10. That viral "70K Coinbase users leaked" number? Coinbase calls it false and thinks it started with Grok mixing this up with its May 2025 breach
Tulip King explains why full time traders love the concept of aura trading
"Trading is a hard lifestyle... but I've never lived off of trading or anything like that. I've always had a job, and I've always made sure to live within the means of my job."
"If your portfolio goes down, I'm still going to make rent. But if trading is your job, your emotional connection to that number is so much higher."
"Now that you can make money from the content side of trading, you can have a bad month trading, but if you have all this aura, your paid group, course selling, or sponsors... you still make rent and you don't have to sell your portfolio when it's down."
"If you were a trader who can convert into aura, you have now managed your portfolio where there's a cash flow income component that was not there."
"Cash is king, cash is a safety net. If I aura-trade my portfolio in a way that introduces cash flow into my lifestyle, I can actually de-risk my portfolio."
Tulip King reveals how taking dozens of small trades with minimal losses can set you up for a seven-figure trade.
"As soon as I have an idea, I buy enough that if it goes to zero you don't care, but if it goes up you wish you bought more"
"If I find myself in the 'it's up' position, then I really turn on the research machine"
"I love big swing trades where I can put 20%, 30%, or more of my net worth"
"What people don't see is that I'll take 20 or 30 micro-trades to get a feel for what the market cares about"
"I'll lose a thousand dollars however many times it takes, then find that one trade where I make $500,000 or a million dollars"
"It’s like being in the water surfing through micro-chop, and then you see the real tide come in"
"The easiest thing any trader can do to radically improve profitability is learn portfolio construction and position sizing"
