Having a productive meeting with great people as we plan for the upcoming Rwenzori Marathon.
I’ve always said that the opportunities created by this marathon are enormous. From food vendors and transport providers to tour operators, accommodation facilities, and local businesses, everyone has a chance to benefit.
This year, I will be sharing real figures and success stories to demonstrate the economic impact the marathon is creating. Personally, I haven’t yet made the kind of returns I envision, but I believe that by the 7th or 8th edition, the long-term investment and consistency will begin to pay off significantly.
Together with my team, we’re working tirelessly to make this event a success for everyone. We will continue engaging different stakeholders to ensure participation remains affordable, comfortable, and accessible for all.
As the official transport partner of the Rwenzori Marathon, our goal is to make every participant’s journey smooth, enjoyable, and memorable while contributing to the continued growth of tourism and local businesses in the Rwenzori region.
