Even facing a brutal 16 hour shift (plus several hours the day before), these incredible people never stopped for even a minute, constantly putting in the work and focus needed to keep the event running smoothly for everyone, and we are so grateful for every single one of them.

What a weekend! Thank you to everyone who contributed, whether through delivering a talk or a workshop, sponsoring, crewing, running a village or stall, or coming along and enjoying the day! Your energy and enthusiasm were so infectious and helped make the day what it was.

demonstrates how much this event is 'by the community, for the community'. Because of that, we'll instead release more focused thank you posts in the days to come, but please know that all your contributions, whether as speaker, sponsor, crew member, vendor, village, caterer,

or our venue itself, are very much appreciated by us all. Without you, Hack Glasgow 2026 would not have been the event it was, and we're so grateful and honoured you wanted to be involved. We hope to see you again next year!

If you're looking for a place to hang out tonight, we'd suggest making your way to The Raven! The Raven (81–85 Renfield St) was the first ever venue for Hack Thursday, back in April 2023, before we moved to the Rhoderick Dhu, so we have a bit of a soft spot for it.

Pre-events are a bit unpredictable in terms of timing/numbers, and this isn't an official HG event so we can't guarantee how many will be there. Regardless, it's a good place for craft beer, cocktails, and food — we hope you have a great night before the main event tomorrow!
