Pied-billed Grebes are small waterbirds with a unique talent: they can adjust their buoyancy to sink beneath the water, sometimes leaving only their head visible! Their lobed toes propel them underwater while hunting fish, crustaceans, and insects. #PiedBilledGrebe #BirdsOfTexas
