Pulmonary large cell neuroendocrine carcinoma is clinically and molecularly distinct from small cell #lungcancer. In this large retrospective series, Choudhury et al. found that there is no clear association of benefit observed through the application of molecularly classified standard treatments of patients with LCNEC.
Guidelines for the development of prospective trials of novel therapeutics may be helpful here.

After developing digital machine learning models to quantify tumor bed area and residual viable tumor, Dacic et al. compared these results to previously published assessments of pathological response from pathologists from the IASLC's reproducibility study.
Their findings support the utility of machine learning algorithms for evaluating pathological response in patients with NSCLC.

Thrilled and honored to receive the 2026 Career Development Award from @LC_Initiative_ ! Our project, TRACE-SCLC, will test whether an ultrasensitive, tumor-informed blood test can detect progression in ES-SCLC before scans do. Excited to get started!
