Working in tech for the better part of 20 years has taught me one thing. I'd rather be outside. But I love raising my kids with my wife, coding, playing video games, BBQing and especially being out in nature doing cool things on mountains. Building on the side of a 9-5 has been an eye opening experience, and I've met a ton of super cool, intelligent and amazing builders - whether UI/UX, Design or straight up code typing, y'all are awesome at what you do, and I can't wait to meet more e-friends.

What do you do? i'd love to have a note taker listening while i'm testing my code. that way I can just talk out loud and have all of my bugfixes and ideas automatically recorded and categorized to work on later. if you have something you love, i'd really like to hear about it. otherwise i might see about writing something custom

What's the weirdest thing you've had to research for one of your projects? My newest one was "what do scorch marks look like on a wall after a grenade explodes".. Making holes in walls is not always enough, sometimes it's the dirty, soot covered work that makes it just right.

Good morning! Still haven’t kicked whatever bug I caught last week, but giving today the ole college try again anyways Sadly had to buy a coffee today cause I ran out of oat milk. They put a little monster sticker on it to keep it from spilling apparently. 😆

I need to come up with a name for my new project. I'm absolutely terrible with naming things though What do you use to come up with names? ChatBot?, random page of the dictionary? Share your technique please!

Good morning X! Another week to build Another week to do something fun And another start of a rose bloom

If you haven't checked out Tern DO IT NOW! it is seriously so good

Sunday is coming to a close again. Hope everyone had a good weekend! Made smoked maple pork chops, honeypatch squash and green veggies for dinner!

Side Quest is quickly turning into main quest.... Went to a local pumpkin "patch" today and nabbed some pumpkins. Can't believe Halloween is less than a week away!

It's Sunday Funday! Still rocking being sick, head congestion is going away, but now the sore throat stage has begun. Worry not though, the build continues. Good progress on my side quest yesterday. I started making a game on friday evening and so far have gotten through "phase 1" aka the core game mechanics and physics, and texture/lighting systems are done. Basic multiplayer code is in as well, but untested as of yet. Sooooo much work yet to do. Hope everyone has a great sunday!

Well. another saturday down in the books. ✅ Released Bug Camprtron update ✅ Spent a massive amount of tokens building my side quest ✅ Played some video games Good saturday considering.

Happy Saturday Camprtron Campers - we've got a huge Camprtron release live! camprtron.com Greatly improved support for all of our Rig/Rv/Camper lovers ✅ "My rig" - save it once, reuse it everywhere ✅ Road access and site length shown as two separate answers ✅ "Check sites for my rig" on developed campgrounds - checks each campsite for your dates ✅ Real campsite lengths (no more rounding up) ✅ Campgrounds we can't check say so right away ✅ Fully up to date against all vulnerabilities that exploded this week Rig info stays private. It never goes in a search, a share link or analytics Hope y'all have a great weekend!

It's been a while so I thought I'd make some new fan art If you haven't hopped today, get to it and find some new products! buildhop.io @Buildhop_io

I have a "save-plan" skill i use with claude. It's purpose is to take a small prompt/sentence and turn it into a fully fleshed out claude workflow plan complete with model selection per task. This has been working great, but I realized it's extremely slow these days. I looked into it and it has an adversarial review process that is 5 subagents. it also performs multiple stages of testing. I've decided to stop using it as I really don't think the newer models (Claude 5.5 family) need this much review/guidance. I'm testing out my new skill which makes a basic prompt after interviewing me. Once I've used it a bit i'll be able to compare how well it did vs my old skill. If it lives up to my expectations I'll give it out to everyone! happy building!

Time to rise and shine X! One benefit of severe congestion is more time To build since you can’t sleep! Today’s docket: ☑️Make bfast for the fam ☑️ Finish Camprtron feature and get them released ☑️ Continue work on my new side quest I started yesterday ☑️ Play some disc golf possibly! ☑️ Watch Longhorns (lose? Haha 😭)

Definitely have a head cold, hopefully that's it. Going to be a chill weekend whether I wanted it or not! At least I had a productive week.

Sinus pressure has increased to 2000psi, might need to install a release valve before I go all Total Recal Swarneegger style to get this snot out
