Then she jumped out a window. Now the whole internet wants to turn a triple child killing into a postpartum TED Talk. You don’t think Jeffrey Dahmer and Ted Bundy had mental health issues? Plenty of monsters do. That didn’t make their victims any less dead. She was a labor and delivery nurse. She knew exactly what a child’s airway looks like. She waited until her husband left the house. That’s not “a break.” That’s a plan. A jury just hung 11–1. One person wouldn’t fold. Good. Because “she was struggling” is not a magic wand that makes three kids un-strangled. If your first instinct after three dead children is to defend the person who killed them, sit with that. That’s not compassion. That’s you telling the world those kids were a footnote to her feelings. Cora. Dawson. Callan. Say their names and shut up about her diagnosis.
