Huge thanks to @santanderuk @santanderukhelp My husband died recently.I called Santander to pay our mortgage off-fully expecting to pay the early repayment charge-but this was waived as I was using funds from a life insurance policy. There are still some good companies out there❤️

Today, @sajidjavid spoke bravely about the suicide of his brother, Tariq.Tomorrow, my family will bury my sister’s dear husband, Barnaby, who took his own life on September 27. We must talk.We must listen. We shouldn’t be afraid to #starttheconversation. #WMHD2022 #mensmentalhealth
My husband took his own life 2.5 weeks ago. I’m in complete shock and disbelief. The organisations that should be helping me with practical solutions during this horrific time, sadly aren’t. @HSBC_UK @AvivaUK @RoyalLondon @nhs_pensions.
Thank you to @braytonacademy1 for making Alice so welcome- she joined this week in year 8. She’s loving it 😍

I’m extremely worried about my and other GP practices. We are on our knees. Staff are breaking down in tears. We are exhausted. We are broken. We need the unrelenting increase in demand and abuse to reduce or we will collapse. @NikkiKF @MattHancock @pulsetoday @TheBMA @TheIGPM

Today we finished off an incredibly busy 8 days of vaccinating / booking + administering over 1,150 vaccines to our patients at Snaith. Thanks to all staff, volunteers and patients who have all helped get the UK 🇬🇧 to the point of over 50% of adults receiving their first dose
What a brilliant (virtual) year 8 parents evening tonight! Thanks to all teachers and staff that made it a seamless and informative process😊. @TheSnaithSchool @SnaithHistory @TSS_MATHS @TSS_ENGLISH @TEAL_Trust – at Yorkshire and The Humber, England
My hubby and I have spent the last 8 weeks organising and managing Covid clinics, so Alice has done all her online lessons at home on her own. Receiving this today made us so so proud of her❤️ Thank you! @m_blackledge @TheSnaithSchool @JonnyUttley

First time I’ve actually ‘whooped’ during one of the press briefings. Well said 👍🏻 – at Yorkshire and The Humber, England
“If you film an empty corridor at 9pm & say this proves this hospitals are empty, it is a lie...You are not only responsible for changing behaviour which will kill people, but it is an insult to staff working their guts out on critical care.”
So true 👏

We have real and grave concerns about these sudden changes to the Pfizer vaccine regime
It undermines the consent process, as well as completely failing to follow the science.
Here is our letter to @MattHancock and JCVI today

What an amazing team🙌🏻 – at Yorkshire and The Humber, England
Wow-what a fab day we had yesterday. We immunised 498 patients over 7hrs. The practice has now immunised just short of 4000 patients during this years flu campaign.
Huge thanks to our staff that have worked so hard to deliver this. #flu2020 #NHSheroes @EastRidingCCG
Complete Lack of communication from @NHSEngland. Primary Care have to find out the latest news about flu vaccines for 50-64 cohort on @BBCNews , as apparently we’re giving the flu jab and the Covid jab from 1 Dec? 🤷🏼♀️ – at Yorkshire and The Humber, England

We NEED to stop glamourising overworking. Please.
The absence of sleep, good diet, exercise, relaxation, and time with friends and family isn't something to be applauded.
Too many people wear their burnout as a badge of honour.
And it needs to change.
