13 months of solo game development. No AI. Just me, building a game from scratch.
Then comes the hard part: getting people to play it.
I spent thousands on marketing through Lurkit, a platform connecting indie devs with streamers and content creators. The experience and results have been far below my expectations.(horrible)
Watching my game struggle to get noticed during Steam Next Fest has been a reality check.
In a market flooded with games and AI-generated Junk, standing out as a solo dev is harder than I ever imagined.
Nobody tells you how hard it is to make a game AND get people to care about it.
Still learning. Still building. Still going. 🎮
