I’ve been to college football stadiums all over the country. P4, G5, FCS. I’ve never experienced the hospitality from the fans and staff I encountered at Kennesaw State last night. Kudos Owls.

I get that, I’m just proving a point. I don’t think it’s something that hurts us when Harrisonburg is so much lower. Other factors than academics and TV rankings is what hurts us.

We have to win in football. A lot. And stay out of the headlines for all the wrong reasons. That’s all we can control. We did great in this regard 2018-2023. Have taken a step backwards last couple of years. Hope it was just a blip. If it was, we will continue moving forward.

I love all Liberty sports but in terms of conference realignment they barely move the needle. JMU didn’t get the call from the AAC because they have a good WBB program.

We do win a lot, in more sports than just Football. I feel like our one bad season in one sport is not what's holding us back here...

This. Liberty has to overcome all the baggage for a conference to want us. 12-12 last 2 seasons won’t/didn’t get it done.

It’s not the ONLY prerequisite. The big 3 are on field performance, market, and academics I hate to break it to Liberty fans, but on field performance is our only option

Liberty has eyed the American as a next stop for a while. Now it becomes increasingly more attractive with several regional programs including JMU, ECU, CLT. Flames need to win. A lot. To be seriously considered.
