Yesterday, our airline partner @emirates' stunning new @NBA-themed A380 livery landed at T4 to celebrate its exciting new sponsorship of the Emirates NBA Cup. During the visit, the Emirates NBA Cup trophy was presented in the presence of NBA legend @JamesWorthy42, NBA commissioner Adam Silver and representatives of Emirates and JFKIAT. For 20 years, we have built a strong relationship with Emirates, an airline that consistently provides exceptional travel experiences to millions of passengers traveling to the Middle East. Now, Terminal 4 passengers can enjoy the NBA experience onboard, with select Emirates NBA Cup broadcasts on Sport24 on ice, and Emirates’ inflight entertainment system. Emirates’ commitment to innovation and unique offerings continues to set a high standard in air travel. It was a Tall order, but @Starbucks has finally arrived at T4 in Concourse B near gate B27 and is already brewing up a buzz! We are percolating with excitement to deliver this news, as we've received a latte requests for this on social media. The newly opened Starbucks pays homage to the borough’s rugged industrial past featuring brick bookending the storefront and framing the store, and art designed by Brooklyn-based artist Misha Tyutyunik that connects this universally loved coffee brand with a unique local atmosphere. Stay tuned for more updates and upgrades to T4’s curated collection of food & beverage and retail offerings in the coming months as the transformation of our terminal continues!

Did you know that it's Climate Week in New York City this week? To celebrate, we're hosting an activation at T4 for passengers and employees, inviting our community to participate in surveys to help us recertify our LEED Platinum status and elevate our sustainability programming for the future. Everyone who completes a survey will receive a reusable tote bag made from 100% recycled materials. This week, we're also using our Oscar Screen at T4 to display messaging about best practices to life a more sustainable lifestyle. Today, we pause to honor the memory of those we lost on September 11, 2001, and express our deepest thanks to the brave heroes who served on that day. This morning Terminal 4 observed two minutes of silence, at the times that the towers were struck, to commemorate the lives that were lost. We will never forget the bravery and resilience that emerged amidst unfathomable tragedy.
