One of the worst 45 seconds of Bulls basketball in recent memory.
Giddey turnover, Matas gets put on the floor and gives up an o board putback to Pritchard. Giddey throws it away again, Pritchard three. Mazzulla is so pumped he hugs Pritchard after Tiago calls a time out.

Jalen Brunson postgame:
"Just want to say RIP to Stacey King who we lost recently. Person who I knew when I was in high school out here. He supported our team a lot. His kids went to Stevenson. Just to see him not here today, it's a little sad. And so I just want to say my thoughts and prayers with him and his family. And we miss him"

Preach! Also bring ya ass on the pod 😂
context matters!
Bryson quite literally said they weren’t addressing every skill at once, *including* shooting. Establishing an identity & developing is priority.
Tiago talked about encouraging open 3s during development & adjusting as the team progressed in Portland too.
4 games in:
Caleb: 17.9% (5/28)
Matas: 21.1% (4/19)
Buddy: 41.7% (5/12)
Norm: 34.4% (11/32)
Tiago specifically said he wants Caleb & Matas taking open shots as part of their development. Buddy & Norm’s spacing should create opportunities inside too.
BUT - good shot location doesn’t always mean good execution (Tiago’s already addressed touching the paint & making defenses react before shooting though).
The %s aren’t cute, but I’m not even worried about it. This early on, I’m looking for decision-making, adjustments & actual development to see if the process is working.
Be patient ✨
