Its day 26 of my #31DaysSeries and I'm reflecting!
Running up and down a stage while singing live? That's cardio. The treadmill is different than dancing. And the Northside crew? That ain't no Stairmaster, no elliptical, no Peloton. That's the real thing!
For day 25 of my #31DaysSeries, I'm saying "I don't want that!"
No judgment on you, I just choose my own treats (ketchup chips & popcorn always! 🍿) and I’m not putting everything in my body. Don’t force me, just let me have my treat.
What do you wish you could say out loud?
I went to Casa Loma for Legends of Horror to shoot our Halloween special. It's 2 to 3 kilometers of skeletons and actors jumping out at you in the dark. I put on my big Storm costume, felt like I was doing something, and then screamed my head off. My nerves are STILL jittery.
What did I learn? It's okay to say "this isn't for me." Scare me all you want, but don't touch me. You don't have to prove anything. Say "it's not for you, it's not for me" and keep it moving. Been there, done that, we're done.
I love roller coasters, dressing up for Halloween and I play video games. Well, I used to, but my husband plays now. He's a genius. 🎮
I wish ppl would be less judgmental of grown folks who decide to keep having fun! #31DaysSeries
