Of course I got you covered with details from the day with players who impressed me and quotes from both coaches as well. Head over to @CollegeBaseCNT to see the article. (link below)

Getting my first look at new @Lamar_Baseball SS Jace Martinez who just roped a two run single and worked a nice AB to start the day.
Martinez transferred in from Sam Houston State and was more known for his glove over there. He could be a breakout candidate this year for the Cards.

This Lamar team is full of newcomers and one guy I’m buying stock in is RHP Diego Luzardo.
The new @Lamar_Baseball went two clean innings today vs Tulane and worked around trouble in the first.

LHP Bryce Navarre is onto his third school now with @Lamar_Baseball.
With stops at two SEC schools in the past I believe he will be a huge part of this Lamar staff. He worked two clean innings sitting 88-90 with his fastball but also attacking with his offspeed as he struck out four in his outing today vs Tulane.

How will @Lamar_Baseball look in Year 1 under Sean Allen? 👀
With 27 transfers, four freshmen and plenty of roster turnover, the Cardinals have a new-look squad heading into 2027.

.@Lamar_Baseball landed one of its highest-rated recruits ever in Marcus Cantu.
The freshman arrived in Beaumont after committing to Texas, then Coastal Carolina, and has the tools to make an impact anywhere in the infield.

.@Lamar_Baseball's biggest fall standout? Lane Sparks.
After a quiet 2026 offensively, the versatile returnee — who can play all three outfield spots and has taken reps at first base — is making a strong impression at the plate.

Bryce Navarre's deep arsenal could help him earn a rotation spot with @Lamar_Baseball.
The former Texas and South Carolina lefty has "a big bag of tricks," with two fastballs, a cutter, sweeper, curveball and changeup.
