What did Savvy do last night?? I have spent the last few years slowly watching, interacting with, and learning live2d. I love pngtubing as well. I always wanted a middle ground between them. Through the power of math, I wanted to make the actually rigging process more fun and intuitive- I should not have to spend 50+ hours rigging something. This is an entirely new program meant to bridge the gap between live2d and pngtubing there are 3 parts to this program basic png tuber workspace animation segment to record various states complete with bones and meshing and then my beautiful Gooey System The gooey system respect nature and learns from the math of that, incorporating it here. Anchor parts of a mesh, have the rest auto move. children move and "live react" to the parent's movement. This is how you create the illusion of being "live" but still being a png tuber. During live sim, it has its own states that you can interpolate into, making it seamless. this was the first major hurdle, getting something that actually made sense, where automeshinging felt good and worked well. there are of course tools to control the mesh. The process of animation should be as fun as drawing, this is where I get my enjoyment. My work will continue and I cannot wait to share this with everyone in more detail <3
