Couldn't have put it better :) @JSHeappey do you agree?
These safe, affordable, socially-distant pitches don't use a shared aeroplane, shared corridor or shared lift. All in the safe fresh air! Please don't leave us behind @10DowningStreet @michaelgove @OliverDowden @chrisloder @HuddlestonNigel #SaveTourism Jobs @BHHPA @TourismsVoice

Step 3: At the earliest by July - subject to these conditions and further scientific advice; if and only if the numbers support it we will hope to re-open at least some of the hospitality industry and other public places, if they are safe and enforce social distancing #StayAlert

🙏 @timfarron for recognising the seasonal tourism business & the need for Government support thru to spring 2021 if our businesses are to survive, #ProtectTourismJobs & the rural/coastal economies we sustain @10DowningStreet @RishiSunak @HuddlestonNigel @hmtreasury 🙏 🙏 🙏
Tourism and hospitality has been one of the worst hit parts of the economy and could face a double hit if the lockdown ends just as we reach its low season. That's why Government must provide the financial support needed to keep hospitality in the Lakes going until next Spring.
