🚙 LiDAR Reflector Rover — Autonomous Driving Without SLAM or ArduPilot! 🛰
Built by Takumi Abe, this M5Stack rover uses six fixed LiDAR reflectors 📍 to locate itself, then combines that position with wheel and IMU odometry ⚙ to follow a route—all on board, with no external computer! 🤖
🗺 #AtomS3 processes LiDAR scans to estimate the rover’s position
🧭 #CoreS3 fuses sensor data, drives the motors, and follows checkpoints
🎯 Over two laps, the rover drops Othello disks at the same spots—a hands-on test of its accuracy!
