For the last month I worked on a non-bs guide to crypto GTM. To anchor it in real-world examples, I spoke with founders & early team members of Aave, ZORA, POAP, Snapshot, L2Beat, Zerion, SushiSwap & others to find how they unlocked their growth. Now the guide is finally out👇

My thesis was simple: Americans don't like corruption, Putin and Netanyahu.
Replying to @wagmiAlexander
Made a bet today with my friend: D +32 R -32.

Noticed a new trend on Twitter: 1) someone posts a video of a politician speaking (e.g., Zelensky, Trump, Obama), 2) they mention the most juicy quote in the tweet, 3) the quote is fake, 4) but people react to because they think that it was taken from the video.

that's the type of video you watch in a post-apocalyptic video game when you search through abandoned military base computers
Mary Phuong of DeepMind on AI loss of control risk. "The last 2 minutes gave me chills. A significant amount of people saying that AI companies are paying people to spread fear about these agents. I have never really felt like [loss of control] was an actual thing to care about. But seeing Mary and how her face trembles, made me reconsider my stand. She's either a Hollywood-level skilled actress, one of the best, or we should be scared. For real." "Seems like Mary is already aware of more than she can admit and it haunts her..."

Anthropic starting a cybersecurity apocalypse while promising a bug-free future

If you're in crypto pivot to cybersecurity
If you’re in crypto pivot to AI

my fav way to look at agents is to look at them as employees. we are all engineering managers & creative directors, leading the teams of agents. so we need need to give them proper goals, remove blockers, give feedback and do retros so they get better over time.

Anthropic’s business looks much better than the $80B “net loss” headlines suggest. ~$72B is an accounting loss. ELI5: if an investor’s right to $1B in shares is now worth $5B, Anthropic books a $4B loss, even though it hasn’t spent that money. Actual operating loss? $693M.

we should thank e/acc midwit crowd on X for downplaying all the risks
We tried to warn the world and far too often, to be frank, we were yelled at for doing so. “Regulatory capture,” “marketing hype,” “doomer anxiety,” “fear-mongering about open source,” “why don’t you talk about the benefits?”

insane how retarded OpenAI models are compared to Claude sol 6.1 is painfully slow, astra is writing tests to tests while missing the main goal... if they don't deliver at least a 5X improvement in the next release, they're rekt

crazy how smooth it is to add features to the Hermes core app. no file preview over SSH? I added it in 10 minutes. this could be the future of software for professionals: a rock-solid core app that lets users add their own features that stay compatible with core app updates

ps: i don't think most consumer apps would work that way. but professional software (think: adobe, ms office, salesforce etc.) will probably evolve in that direction, just like they became cloud-first in the 2010s. chapeau bas @NousResearch for being ahead of the curve.

Fields medallist Hugo Duminil-Copin was deeply shaken by OpenAI’s release of more than 700 AI-generated mathematical manuscripts, including work on 16 questions directly relevant to his research. “On Tuesday night, I cried, and it woke up my daughter” “They have annihilated my field of research.” lemonde.fr/sciences/article/…

new little product I built at vaults, using our composition data. more protocols coming soon!
How do your Morpho positions add up? When you allocate to many vaults and markets, it's easy to lose track of your real exposure. That's why we built X-Ray: see your combined market exposure across Morpho, understand how allocations fit together and decide where to invest next

Church getting back to being a patron like in the good old Michelangelo era?
In this era of artificial intelligence, it is becoming urgent to distinguish human art from what machines produce. There is an ontological difference, even before an aesthetic one, between art and what a machine can generate through statistical calculation based on millions of images created by others. Algorithms lack the spark of humanity. For this reason, the Church wishes to renew an alliance with artists and cultural institutions to safeguard our humanity.

Thing I've been most bullish on in all crypto lately. TradFi is pretty terrible at satisfying the 'I want to borrow $ against my stock' user story and we can deliver 10X better experience.
Stock-backed loans are live on Morpho. Users can lend and borrow against @coinbase tokenized stocks at variable & fixed rates on @base.
