MY HAIR IS A BOOK is out, y’all. I wrote it because my 3 yr old daughter was expressing negative feelings about her hair. It broke my heart.
So, to empower her & children like her, I wrote an unapologetic celebration of Black hair in all its curl patterns, textures, & lengths
A very special thank you to London Ladd. I’ve told you countless times, but I have to say it again. I am in awe of your art…every spread..every thoughtful detail. You have elevated this book to something I could have only dreamed of. Thank you for saying “yes” to this project.
