Unglaublich, aber wahr: Deutschland ist im Blut versunken - von 16 Millionen Einwohnern starben geschätzt 6 Millionen, in vielen Regionen mehr als die Hälfte der Bevölkerung. Und dennoch gibt es keinen einzigen gesetzlichen bundesweiten Feiertag oder auch nur Gedenktag, der an den 30-jährigen Krieg oder sein Ende erinnert. Nur in der einzelnen Stadt Augsburg gibt es am 8. August einen Feiertag, der sich ausdrücklich auf diesen Krieg bezieht. Folge @GanzeGeschichte für mehr!

If the GOP wants any chance in the future, it will have to kick Donald Trump out of the party. He has absolutely destroyed it and the current state of the GOP is warmongering, corrupt, corporate focused, entity that does not at all reflect the conservative values of its voters. It’s s lie. But I highly doubt they will do it. Many elected Republicans only won because of his endorsement. And those in his administration are going to defend him and stay loyal in hopes for pardons. They will probably blame everyone and everything else and continue to worship Trump. And if that remains their course, the Republican party won’t be able to win nationally for decades.
