Americans are already paying too much for everyday essentials. Grocery stores, airlines, and other companies should not be able to use folk’s personal data and AI to squeeze every last penny out of them.

When Trump’s awful tax bill takes full effect next year, 300,000+ Virginians are at risk of losing Medicaid. We must fight these cuts & get to universal coverage. It was good to convene state and local leaders in Richmond last week to continue our fight to protect health care.

This harvest season, Virginia farmers have had to pay $2,000 more to fill their diesel tanks than they did last year. Trump’s war of choice is driving up fuel costs and making it harder for farmers to make ends meet.

Americans need to be able to use AI in tangible ways to improve their lives. I asked Anthropic to build a pilot program that will connect military families across Hampton Roads to local resources. It’s a great first step, and I’m ready to keep building on this effort.

Housing costs are reaching record highs, putting even more strain on families already struggling with rising prices. That’s why I helped write and pass the bipartisan ROAD to Housing Act that will make housing more affordable for veterans, renters, first-time homebuyers, and families across Virginia.

Spent my weekend celebrating Hampton Roads’ incredible sailors and storied naval tradition at Fleet Fest! It was great to thank so many servicemembers and honor the enormous contributions of our military.

Donald Trump admits it… he doesn’t care about your high gas prices because he’s happy oil companies are making billions.

Trump is now directing the Justice Department to try and sow chaos in Alaska’s election. We must speak up to protect our free and fair elections.

We’ve been warning for months they would try to interfere in the fair administration of our elections.   Now, the president admits he personally directed the Department of Justice to intervene in a state’s election before the votes have even been counted.   Under our Constitution, the president doesn’t get to decide who wins elections. The voters do.
FORT MYERS, Fla. (AP) — Trump says he ordered the Justice Department lawsuit over Alaska's US Senate race: 'I'm the one that said do it.'

Terrifying — AI agents are already starting to access Americans’ bank accounts. Let’s get guardrails up NOW.

Since Trump took office, Virginia families are spending $3,900 more on everyday essentials – from gas to groceries. The President who promised to lower your costs has done everything he can to raise them.

Gas prices are still sky-high… and now new reporting indicates more strikes on Iran are planned for after the election. How much more can Americans take? Why won’t Trump end this cruel war of choice?

Insane that it needs to be said… but Putin is not a humanitarian. He’s a brutal, authoritarian dictator that initiated a wholly unjustified and deadly invasion of Ukraine. This administration’s posturing will never change that.

You can’t make this stuff up… this administration is now calling Putin – the architect of a bloody and unprompted war against Ukraine – a “humanitarian.”

This is the exact thing we’ve been warning about for years… AI agents with unrestrained access to your bank account and protected information. When consumer AI agents are accessing YOUR bank account or using YOUR credit card, they must be subject to fiduciary-like duties of care. We need to pass my AI AGENTS Act to get some basic guardrails in place.
SCOOP: Major U.S. banks are detecting unauthorized third-party AI agents inside customer accounts, including some attempting to take actions that appear to be independent of user instructions, sources told Axios. The findings have alarmed banking executives, who are racing to restrict access to their systems as AI moves at a velocity faster than financial institutions can respond, multiple industry and bank executives told Axios. Several banks are now preparing for worst-case and even “day after” scenarios, including how to rapidly secure or restore customer accounts if things go wrong, the people said. Several bank executives told Axios they're struggling to distinguish between human users and AI agents. One executive said banks also struggle to determine whether agents are authorized by customers or potentially operating without their permission, more akin to rogue agent behavior. We’re currently seeing the largest and deadliest measles outbreak in decades thanks to years of RFK Jr sowing doubt in the safety of vaccines. Americans are dying. It never had to be this way.

Americans have spent well over $100 BILLION extra on gas because Trump chose to go to war with Iran. His ego-fueled decisions cost you thousands.

Trump will use any tool, legal or not, to try and make sure he gets the results he wants this year. We must use these final two weeks to stand up and stop his attempts at interference.
