We are delighted to announce the successful issuance of a $600 million five-year bond – our first blue bond and, with an AA- rating from S&P and Fitch, the highest rated public blue bond issued globally by a corporate.
Issued on the London Stock Exchange’s International Securities Market with a 5.875% US dollar coupon, the bond was swapped into euros at a 4.374% yield. The transaction attracted resilient demand from regional and international investors, with the orderbook peaking at US$1.5 billion.
The blue bond reinforces our leadership position in sustainable finance and enables us to channel capital toward maritime clean energy projects, including offshore wind.

يسرنا الإعلان عن إصدار "مصدر" أول سندات زرقاء بقيمة 600 مليون دولار أمريكي وبأجل استحقاق مدته خمس سنوات، وقد حصل على تصنيف ائتماني (AA-) من وكالتي "ستاندرد آند بورز" و"فيتش"، وهو أعلى تصنيف ائتماني يُمنح حتى الآن لإصدار سندات زرقاء مطروح للاكتتاب العام على مستوى العالم.
وتم إصدار السندات في السوق الدولية للأوراق المالية التابعة لبورصة لندن، بمعدل فائدة سنوي يبلغ 5.875% بالدولار الأمريكي، ثم جرى تحويله إلى اليورو بعائد قدره 4.374%. وقد استقطب الإصدار طلباً قوياً من قاعدة واسعة من المستثمرين الإقليميين والدوليين، حيث بلغ حجم سجل الطلبات ذروته عند 1.5 مليار دولار أمريكي.
ومن شأن هذا الإصدار أن يسهم في تعزيز ريادة "مصدر" في مجال التمويل المستدام، وإتاحة المجال للشركة لتوجيه رأس المال نحو مشاريع الطاقة النظيفة المرتبطة بالمياه، بما في ذلك مشاريع طاقة الرياح البحرية.

During the official visit to Greece by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Masdar and Khazna Data Centers signed an MoU to advance green data center development in Greece, combining Khazna’s data center development and operational capabilities with Masdar’s renewable energy and energy storage expertise.

During the official visit to Greece by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, Masdar announced that it is expanding its presence in the country through the acquisition of one of Greece’s largest solar projects.
The 550+MW project will generate enough electricity to power more than 200,000 homes a year. We also plan to enhance the project with battery storage, supporting a more flexible and resilient power system.
As electricity demand rises across Europe, driven by economic growth, electrification and expanding digital infrastructure, projects like this will play an increasingly important role in delivering affordable, reliable clean power.

خلال الزيارة الرسمية لسمو الشيخ خالد بن محمد بن زايد آل نهيان، ولي عهد أبوظبي، إلى اليونان، أعلنت "مصدر" عن توسيع محفظة مشاريعها في اليونان من خلال الاستحواذ على أحد أكبر مشاريع الطاقة الشمسية في البلاد.
تتجاوز قدرة المشروع 550 ميغاواط، وسينتج كهرباء تكفي لتلبية احتياجات أكثر من 200 ألف منزل سنوياً. وتخطط "مصدر" لإضافة نظام بطاريات لتخزين الطاقة إلى المشروع، بما يتيح مرونة أكبر في إمدادات الكهرباء ويدعم استقرار الشبكة.
ومع تزايد الطلب على الكهرباء في أوروبا نتيجة النمو الاقتصادي والتوسع في استخدام الكهرباء وتنامي البنية التحتية الرقمية، تزداد أهمية هذه المشاريع لتوفير طاقة نظيفة وموثوقة وبتكلفة مناسبة.

At the UAE-Greece Strategic Forum in Athens, held during the visit to Greece by His Highness Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, we were honored by the Greek Prime Minister’s recognition of Masdar as a key investment partner in Greece.
As the UAE and Greece mark five decades of diplomatic relations, clean energy is playing an increasingly important role in strengthening economic ties, energy security and shared prosperity.
