Don't work for companies. Work with people. At the end of the day brands and companies will come and go, but the people you work with are what really matter. Support each other. Come together to solve hard problems and realize great opportunities. Stay in touch. Pay it forward.

I believe we should all adopt a goal in this time of exponential technology acceleration. We should push for more rapid adoption of disruptive technologies across every industry and every corner of government.
This is a time to accelerate. I see it as the only way through some of humanity's greatest challenges. Without significant tech disruption we will never escape our mounting debt crisis, growing economic challenges, rising global geopolitical turmoil, threats to the environment and the dramatic increases in healthcare costs.
Sure there is risk in accelerating the wrong tech or not doing it smartly. Lets deal with the risk and move out faster.
My mission: I want to extend and expand human agency in an age of accelerating technology.
And I want to do that with people who believe like me. That is why I identify with the e/acc movement.
I interact with many others who share that common goal here on X and also via Signal, Slack, LinkedIn, Discord etc. Also interact via in-person meetings of course. No matter how we connect I am thankful to be in a community of like-minded professionals.
Many who want to comprehend where the future is taking us will be gathering at OODAcon on 4 Nov in Reston Virginia. Come join us and deal with risks while ensuring opportunities are understood so we can collectively accelerate the best in tech.

Absolutely loved @Jefftthomas trailer “The Gifted” for the Future Vision Xprize. Congrats on the well deserved win. It got my vote and I’ll definitely be investing in the film.
The Gifted explored a concept I’ve been focused on since the formation of the LA TEW in the late 90’s and then emulated with the Group Intel network after reading the graphic novel “Global Frequency”, which is also the inspiration for my Sunday mailing list.
Give it a watch. You won’t be disappointed.

Sad for @johnternus to have taken the helm for Apple's worst iPhone launch yet. I've had every version since day one, but have never had a device with so many issues upon upgrading. Hope a quick patch for some of this stuff gets issued soon!

Many years ago when folks were living their lives in Second Life and World of Warcraft, I predicted the emergence of gaming retirement style communities where you get a place to sleep and shower and you would be served meals while you spend the rest of your time living in games.

The window between vulnerability disclosure and real-world exploitation keeps shrinking.
The Zero Day Clock visualizes how fast attackers are operationalizing new CVEs. What used to take months now often happens in days, or hours.
