My mom is VERY excited about all the Game of Thrones AI slop out there right now 🙃🙃 save me.. I guess a lot of the older generation will consume this stuff like candy, as long as it’s targeting their fav shows or genres.

Left poll vague on purpose: Guys, you know a ton of the software you use is mostly written by AI, right? And most any new software def is. Humans are no longer better at writing code. We passed that months ago. We still need to verify and oversee❗️, but the writing is not on us.

This is not a "Melon loves AI" post. This is not about opinions, this is reality and a FYI to those not in the tech world. I don't write better, safer, or faster code than the newest models. You don't either. Amazing devs decades my senior also don't.

Let me pre-empt, because this is twitter: I don't like AI art, music, writing, or creativity in general. This is not about that. Design, (sometimes) big picture code architecture, product sense and decisions are still 100% better done by humans. But not the writing of the code.
