Two albums. One unmistakable voice. And a place in heavy metal history that can never be taken away.
On October 21, 2024, we lost Paul Di’Anno, the original voice of Iron Maiden, at just 66 years old.
On this day in 2008, AC/DC unleashed Black Ice, their first studio album in eight years, and proved they still had plenty of gas left in the tank!
The album hit No. 1 in 29 countries and was followed by one of the biggest tours in rock history.
50 YEARS AGO TODAY…LED ZEPPELIN HIT THE BIG SCREEN!
On October 20, 1976, Led Zeppelin’s legendary concert film The Song Remains the Same opened in New York City….
On this day in 1985, THE CULT released Love.
She Sells Sanctuary…Rain…Revolution… what a record!

On this day in 1989, THE ROLLING STONES, GUNS N’ ROSES and LIVING COLOUR played the Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum.
37 years later, this is still one hell of a concert bill.

On this day in 1973, Montrose released their debut album featuring Ronnie Montrose and Sammy Hagar.
… 53 years later, still a killer record!
October 1989. Look at this damn list.
Mötley Crüe at #1. The Stones at #3. Aerosmith at #6. Skid Row at #9.
And that’s before you get to Warrant, Alice Cooper, Great White, The Cult, L.A. Guns and Guns N’ Roses.
One week. One hell of a record-store trip.
You’ve got enough cash for ONE album on this list. Which one are you taking home? 🤘🏼

Happy Birthday Brian Johnson! 🤘🏼
From Geordie to stepping into one of the biggest bands on the planet and singing on Back in Black, Brian has spent nearly five decades proving that rock ’n’ roll doesn’t need to be complicated. Turn it up, mean it, and leave everything on the stage.
