I know for the type of hole I was in, it was a lot easier to keep an appointment than to make one. So the next time someone you trust says "If there's anything I can do for you...", take them up on it. Let them be there for you. Things can get better.

4 votes • Final resultsI feel compelled by the popularity of #QueensGambit (which I loved, btw) to throw out my favorite chess replacement games. I do this because chess *leans in close* kinda sucks *ducks to avoid flying nerd rage*
And finally, if you want a game that simulates war like chess is supposed to, I’d recommend War Chest. Very similar feel to chess but you’re taking territory not playing protect the VIP. Different combos of pieces with different powers each game that can be drafted. Fun stuff.
Finally, my faves, @ShutUpShow, had Chess Month where they talked about games that you should be playing instead of chess. @TomBrewstErr did a review of War Chest (which inspired me to buy it) and @Quinns108 did a chess variants video if you must play chess itself. Thanks! Bye!
