A drone in the air. A suspect on the run. An arrest.
When an armed robbery occurred in a gas station parking lot, our Real Time Information Center (RTIC) deployed a drone, providing officers a live view & tracked the suspect until officers took him into custody.
HALLOWEEN SAFETY
DRIVERS: Slow down. No distractions. No impaired driving. Expect kids everywhere after dark.
TRICK-OR-TREATERS: Be visible. Carry a flashlight. Use crosswalks. Stay with an adult. Stick to well-lit homes.
Look out for each other, OKC. Have a safe night.
Halloween in OKC is for ghosts, ghouls, and good times—not handcuffs.
If your night includes cocktails, or cannabis...make sure your game plan includes a sober driver. Don't let a bad choice turn a fun night into a tragedy.
An active armed robbery is shut down and the suspect arrested due to our Real Time Information Center (RTIC) and officers on the ground. This is a great example of how technology is helping our agency solve crimes.
The scariest thing you can run into this Halloween isn't a haunted house—it's an Impaired Driving charge.
If you’re drinking or consuming cannabis, leave the keys behind. Kids are out in full force trick-or-treating, and they need clear, safe streets.
It takes all of us working together to make a difference, from the first voice answering the call to the first responders arriving on scene, we share one purpose...serving others when they need us most.

When a crash results in a loss of life, finding out what happened matters, that’s where our Signal 30 Squad comes in. These investigators work to reconstruct fatality crashes, examine evidence, and determine the circumstances.
Drive safely, OKC.

Before you put it in drive, buckle up!
It takes just a few seconds to make a decision that could save your life. Whether you're headed across town or just around the corner, make sure everyone in the vehicle is buckled up before you hit the road.
Every trip. Every time.
Some friendships are built to last a lifetime.
Officer Carollo & Officer Fogarty have known each other since pre-K. Now, they’ve taken that friendship one step further...graduating from our academy together & serving OKC.
A former electrician, Sgt. Inman talks about why he charged up his career and chose to become a police officer in this episode of Why I Love OKCPD.
Connecting through faith, partnership, and unity.
Here's a look back at us engaging with neighbors and faith leaders across Oklahoma City during #FaithAndBlue Week!
Thank you OKC for making it a success!
Everyone has a role in keeping our streets safe.
Drivers, slow down and watch for people crossing the road. Pedestrians, use crosswalks when available, stay alert and make eye contact with drivers before crossing.
Let’s look out for each other, Oklahoma City.
We joined the students & staff at John Rex Elementary for National Walk & Roll to School Day! It was a great morning of getting outside & connecting.
