Always default towards double opt in intros (ask both parties if they have the space to be introduced) unless you already know for sure they would be down. Most people appreciate being asked, not always though some people trust you with your recommendations.

Has anyone found a tool they'd recommend for double opt in introductions? I find I've done hundreds in the last few months, and it takes time. Something simple like if Ada wants an intro to Betty: Ada's email Betty's email Reason they should meet/request from one to the other

How do you accelerate the double opt-in process of an intro to a VC thru a friend? Friends agree to intro, then 3-4 weeks go back and outcome doesn’t. Not because of lack of interest but due to lack of time (May be?) how frequently can you ping? Other Ideas?

I respect that, im pretty good at the verbal one now (thanks USC) and because of the whole double opt in when doing intros I’ve had to write mine out quite a bit
Something I learned as a female founder: the big vision slide is even more important. People assume white male founders have a big vision. For female founders, the bias is that your vision won't be as ambitious. Sadly, you have to hit them over the head with it.🤯
