Lost my mate. Club lost the reason they’re still alive. Supporters paid tribute. Respect paid @StockportCounty @AFCWimbledon 💙⚽️💙
Remember those nights when people of a certain age turned out the lights and played Mike Oldfield’s Tubular Bells?
Piano motif. Layers building. Bells ringing. After The Exorcist, it felt even more eerie and immersive. A quiet little ritual.
Who else had evenings like that?

A minutes applause for David Schofield
There will be a minutes applause, followed by a rendition of The Scarf My Father Wore, dedicated to our dear friend David Schofield in the 57th minute of tomorrows fixture against AFC Wimbledon.
Dave was County through and through and was an incredibly important part of the clubs history.
His closest family and friends will be in attendance.
Thank you 💙

💔💔💔
It’s with a very heavy heart that I have to let you all know that our great friend @D_S_Schofield has passed away today. I would ask that we all give his family some time to themselves at this sad time. Hopefully we will resurrect the project in his memory asap 💔💔
