#Serbia: Knife attack on #Israeli Embassy guard in #Belgrade; 16-year-old attacker killed, terror threat raised to the highest level.
- On the night of 28 October 2026 (around 12:15 a.m.), a minor (identity still unconfirmed, believed to be from Šabac) attacked a Serbian Gendarmerie officer guarding the Israeli Embassy in Belgrade.
- Shouting “Allahu Akbar,” the assailant charged with two knives, one of which struck the officer’s left cheek, causing a facial cut.
- The officer, in self-defense, shot and killed the attacker on the spot.
- Authorities describe the act as a terrorist attack. Serbian security services were reportedly monitoring the individual, identified as an #ISIS supporter who displayed a black ISIS flag and related symbols on Instagram.
- This is the second such incident at the Embassy of #Israel in Belgrade in the past two years. A 2024 crossbow attack also involved an ISIS sympathizer.

🚨#Belgrade-#Serbia: Tens of thousands of people filled the square and the surrounding streets, according to AFP reporters.
📌"We are putting an end to 14 years of humiliation, chaos and betrayal, and to decades of putting personal and party interests above yours," university professor Jugoslav Gasic, one of 250 candidates on the Student List, told the crowd, which chanted "Victory, victory!"
📌"You deserve better, and we know how to deliver it. Students are winning!"
📌The rally ended with the candidates stepping down from the stage into the crowd while holding the Serbian constitution in their hands before dancing the traditional folk dance with supporters.
📌Vucic has dominated Serbian politics for over a decade, serving as either prime minister or president.

📌#Belgrade-#Serbia: The vote comes after nearly two years of student-led protests sparked by the 2024 collapse of a canopy at the newly renovated Novi Sad railway station that killed 16 people.
📌The tragedy, widely blamed on corruption, triggered some of Serbia's largest protests since the fall of strongman Slobodan Milosevic in 2000.
📌The anti-corruption movement, led by university students, snowballed from demands for a transparent investigation into the tragedy into calls for an early election.
📌Waving "Students are winning" flags, chanting, and blowing whistles, students and their supporters marched through Belgrade before converging on Slavija Square, the site of some of their biggest protests.

Thousands of communists marching through the streets of Athens is not at all unique for #Greece…
🇬🇷 Thousands of young COMMUNISTS flooded the streets of Athens, waving red flags as far-left movements continue mobilizing across Europe.
Europe's growing unrest could serve the interests of powerful political actors who benefit from weakened national governments and increasingly divided populations.
Now, watching thousands of activists take to the streets, it's worth asking WHO is organizing these movements, who's funding them, and what political objectives they're pursuing.
I find the scale of these mobilizations suspicious, especially with so many European governments already facing mounting public anger.
Are we watching a spontaneous wave of ideological activism, or is someone trying to turn Europe's political frustration into something much bigger?
