One thing I’ve noticed over my 25+ years in digital advertising: We’re often much quicker to criticize a solution’s imperfections than to acknowledge the problem it’s actually trying to solve. It’s easy to sit on the sidelines and point out what’s missing, what could go wrong, or why something isn’t quite right. It’s considerably harder to roll up your sleeves and build something that moves the industry forward. As Voltaire famously popularized, “The perfect is the enemy of the good.” Constructive criticism is essential. Debate makes solutions better. But demanding perfection before embracing progress is a great way to ensure nothing ever changes. We need more builders, more contributors to ideas, greater collaboration, fewer armchair critics, and a little more appreciation for progress over perfection.

Great! Now we are seeing full branded Frankenstein AIO recipes at the top of search for unbranded recipe intent queries🙄 In many cases the plagiarizing branded AIO is on top of a huge stack of ads. Things are getting way out out of control @rmstein and @rajanpatel

Did you know states argue any Character.ai offer above roughly $15.2 million would leave the estate better off than Disney’s $20 million deal, because the company keeps $5.5 million Disney already paid? ppc.land/32-states-say-chara…
