PSLINK has signed a major agreement with the Department of Migrant Workers, the Philippines to strengthen protection, representation and rights of Filipino migrant workers — both at home and in destination countries.
The agreement covers:
✊ Migrant workers’ rights and welfare
⚖️ Access to justice
📢 Migrant worker organising
🛡️ Protection against illegal recruitment and trafficking
🌏 Cross-border trade union support
Annie Geron PSLINK and @HansLeoCacdac of @DMWPHL signed the Agreement.
With PSI’s network of unions in more than 150 countries, Filipino migrant workers can be connected with trade unions in destination countries for implementation of the Agreement.
This is international trade union solidarity made practical — workers and unions supporting each other across borders.
