Seth Rogen says he and his wife are now more grateful than ever that they decided not to have children he’s not afraid to explain why. He admits they used to question whether they’d made the right decision, but now their conversations have shifted to, “Honestly, thank God we don’t have children.” His reasoning? They’re in the prime of their lives, understand themselves better than ever, and have the freedom to pursue their careers, enjoy life, and build the kind of relationship they’ve always wanted. But Seth took it a step further, saying he sees people with children struggling to find the same time for work and personal enjoyment that he and his wife have. “I seem to get a lot more active enjoyment out of not having kids than anyone I know seems to get out of having kids.” That statement will probably divide people. Some see raising children as life’s greatest joy, while others believe a fulfilling life doesn’t have to include parenthood. Do you think Seth has a point, or is there a kind of happiness you can only understand after having children?

hello @cursor_ai, i really like @bot but this past week my experience has gone from barely touching 15% of weekly usage to hitting 100% in one day with literally no change in behavior. I've been a user since day 1. I pay $200/mo for this and I even topped up an extra $40 to finish some simple tasks, and I'm back at 100% with 2 days to go. What I liked about Grok Bot was that it just worked, and at this point, it's not usable. It's not lost on me that compute is expensive but this feels like a rug pull. I was willing to accept and pay for a subfrontier model, but this is forcing my hand to switch. Judging from the conversation here, I am not alone.

been thinking about why AI coding and AI music feel so different. faster code lets me build things i couldn't before. making 100 more songs doesn't give anyone 100 more reasons to care. the value of automation depends on what you're making. also, i actually like making music. there are tedious parts i'd happily automate, but the process itself is a big part of why i do it.

you can just build things now. I built a @Patreon MCP. github.com/andreanjos/patreo… - pull campaigns/tiers/patrons/posts - analyze patron status + lifetime support - draft/publish/schedule/delete posts - manage webhooks FYI, post writes use patreon's hidden api, not the official one. I hope they see this and add it to official api.

you can just build stuff now this is a sensor that tracks how much water is left in my berkey water filter. my tap water is pretty good quality but it's an extra assurance knowing it's properly filtered and without buying bottled water. it's easy to forget to refill it because there's no visual cue of how much is left until you literally try to fill a cup. so I built a 3d printed scale with opus 5.5, it sourced the parts, designed the shape, wrote the esp32 code, and now i have a simple visual cue for anybody in the house of when it needs to be refilled. I also get a notification through home assistant. is this necessary? absolutely not, but it's one less thing to think about.

you can just build stuff now i built a digital version of my house in blender based on polycam lidar scans, then astra did a detail pass based on photos. basically every lamp, door, plant or electronic component is viewable in this format. i can toggle lights, see if plants need watering. The blender version is used by imagegen to create these stylized dioramas, that react to their actual state and time of day. this is all seamless inside of the home assistant app as a dashboard. when people talk about personalized software this is what I envision.

not gonna post my whole house lol but it’s a pretty fun way to navigate home assistant and see everything from a glance. not sure how it got so toasty … ugh.

you can just build stuff now, 3d printed enclosure for networking equipment, pretty much entirely designed by astra. I could have done a small 10" rack, but it didnt fit my ecoflow UPS and this is just a small satellite AP in a room. It has a enclosure in the back for a power strip and looks cleaner than a bunch of scattered equipment.

you can just build stuff now, home assistant dashboard/calendar. it shows me at a glance what is open/locked, air temp, co2, what plants need watering, power consumption. pi zero with e-ink display. I had astra design the enclosure which is obviously oversized. the base is actually 2x5U gridfinity compatible.

problem solved
amazon is blocking grok @bots from ordering, and elon's answer is just have your bot buy it somewhere else. one of my grok bots only handles my amazon returns, so i'm watching this one closely. would you switch stores for your bot? 🛒 Elon, i think its time for an X Shop? 👀

installed @omarchy on my old 2013 trashbin mac pro and it works like a dream. apple had basically stopped supporting this device and now feels like a modern pc.
