This is why I laugh at the banterous slandering of the GOATed Jay Jay Okocha. If it is not just banter and you genuinely believed he killed team’s progressive play, then your understanding of the game has to be checked. Jay Jay was not just a magical dribbler; but just like Messi, he was a talent, blessed with tremendous vision and a dexterious passer of the ball. So, like it was in this game vs Italy in 1994 (that shaped the unfounded claims that Jay Jay doesn’t play with the team), the times he didn’t pass, he was either unsure of the pass going through or of the teammate’s run good enough. It happens, a lot, with players that never like to lose the ball. And once again in this clip against Italy, it is obvious to see how positive Jay Jay’s play was for the team than negative. I remember the notion while watching this game LIVE among those seniors were that of negativity; I wonder how they will feel if they watch it with open minds now. (I remember watching the full game in Qatar four years ago 😁) xitter.cf/AhmedTarek74953/status…

Christopher Reeve rests between takes on the set of Superman: The Movie in 1977, still wearing the iconic Superman suit that would become one of the most recognizable costumes in film history. There is something deeply human about this photograph: Christopher Reeve, dressed as the world’s most famous superhero, sits asleep in a folding chair between takes. The image captures the contrast between the magic of cinema and the reality behind the scenes. On screen, Superman appeared unstoppable — a hero who never tired or faltered. Off camera, Reeve was a young actor enduring long production days, waiting beneath hot studio lights for the next scene to be filmed. Superman: The Movie was shot primarily from March to October 1977, with major portions filmed at Pinewood Studios in England and on location in New York City. Directed by Richard Donner, the production was one of the most ambitious films of its era, featuring groundbreaking visual effects, complex flying sequences, and a budget that eventually surpassed $50 million, making it the most expensive film ever made at the time. Reeve was only 24 years old and relatively unknown when he won the role after competing against hundreds of actors, including several established stars. To prepare, he followed an intense training program with British bodybuilder David Prowse, who would later become famous as Darth Vader in Star Wars. Reeve gained around 30 pounds of muscle, transforming his slim build into the powerful physique that defined Superman for generations. When the film premiered in December 1978, it became a major critical and commercial success, helping launch the era of the modern superhero blockbuster. Reeve’s sincere and optimistic portrayal remains one of the most celebrated versions of Superman ever brought to the screen. The film’s famous marketing slogan — “You’ll believe a man can fly” — captured the impact of its revolutionary visual effects. Through innovative wire work, optical effects, and front-projection techniques, Superman: The Movie achieved something audiences had never seen before: making a superhero truly feel real.

A man was caught on camera scaling the side of a building in Paris to rescue a four-year-old child hanging from a balcony. Without a moment's hesitation, he climbed several stories to reach the little boy and pull him to safety. A true hero whose courage deserves the highest respect and every medal imaginable. 👏🏅❤️

Austrian-born immigrant Arnold Schwarzenegger attends night school in California while building his career, 1973. In 1973, Arnold Schwarzenegger attended night classes at Santa Monica College while also taking UCLA Extension courses to improve his English and study business. Having immigrated from Austria to California just five years earlier, the reigning Mr. Olympia viewed education as an essential step toward building a future beyond competitive bodybuilding. By day, Schwarzenegger followed an intense training regimen at Gold’s Gym in Venice Beach, and by night, he was in the classroom preparing for the next phase of his career. His commitment to learning reflected the same discipline that fueled his athletic success and helped lay the groundwork for his later achievements as an entrepreneur, actor, and public figure.
