Thank you Lee Tractor Company for hosting both @RepEzell, a member of the @TransportGOP, and our partners at the Deep Southern Equipment Dealers Association at your facility in Biloxi, Mississippi!
As Tropical Storm Isaias approaches the Gulf Coast, I encourage everyone in South Mississippi to stay alert, make necessary preparations, and closely monitor updates from MEMA and other local officials.
While the storm’s track may shift, we know how quickly conditions can change. Please take this storm seriously, stay informed, and put the safety of your family and neighbors first.
❗️Tropical Storm Isaias Update❗️
Tropical Storm Isaias is expected to continue strengthening and become a strong hurricane as it approaches the northern Gulf Coast on Friday.
The track of Tropical Storm Isaias has shifted eastward, but now is not the time to let your guard down. There is already a storm surge watch for the entire Mississippi Gulf Coast.
MEMA continues to encourage all Mississippians to prepare for potential storm impacts.

From rigs to reefs. From steel to sanctuary.
Last week, Natural Resources Republicans advanced @RepMikeEzell’s Marine Fisheries Habitat Protection Act out of Committee to expand the Rigs to Reefs initiative. Soon after, @POTUS took executive action to establish a federal Reef-in-Place Program.
Together, we’re conserving thriving ecosystems, supporting America’s anglers and strengthening our coastal communities.
I appreciated the opportunity to sit down with enlisted members of the Coast Guard for a firsthand look at what a day in their service looks like and the missions they carry out every day.
As Chairman of the Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee, hearing directly from the men and women on the front lines is critical to understanding the challenges they face and ensuring they have the resources and support they need.
Thank you to everyone who joined us and shared their experiences. I’ll continue working in Congress to support the men and women of the Coast Guard and the important work they do for our nation.

Bipartisan progress for Rigs-to-Reefs.
Thank you @RepEzell and @RepTroyCarter for your leadership on the Marine Fisheries Habitat Protection Act and @NatResources for advancing the bill 22–16.
This practical conservation measure will help preserve valuable offshore marine habitat.

🪸 @RepEzell's "Marine Fisheries Habitat Protection Act," formalizes and builds upon the Rigs to Reef initiative, which allows energy producers to convert inactive offshore energy infrastructure into artificial reefs. It establishes clear procedures and timelines to ensure a reliable permitting process and authorizes the Department of the Interior to designate Reef Planning Areas and approve eligible inactive structures for reefing in place, bolstering marine habitat and coastal communities.
As production of Marauder continues to scale, we're expanding the infrastructure that supports every vessel from shipyard to delivery.
We're announcing our expansion to Gulfport, Mississippi, where we've established a dedicated Marauder on-water testing and commissioning facility at the Port of Gulfport. Our first Marauder is already undergoing on-water testing at the site, with trials running 12+ hours a day, seven days a week. Additional Marauders under construction at our shipyard in Franklin, Louisiana will follow the same path to Gulfport as production ramps.
Thank you to @SenatorWicker, leadership from the @PortofGulfport and the University of Southern Mississippi, and representatives from the offices of Governor @tatereeves, Senator @cindyhydesmith and Congressman @RepEzell for joining us on site to mark the facility opening.
We're proud to continue investing across the Gulf Coast. Read more here: medium.com/saronic-technolog…

The greatest generation watched the greatest fireworks show in American history last night at the WWII Memorial on our nation’s 250th birthday.
What a sight. One for the history books. 🇺🇸
Happy Independence Day, America! 🇺🇸
Today, as we celebrate our nation's 250th birthday, we honor the courage of our Founding Fathers, the sacrifices of those who have defended our freedoms, and the enduring values that make America the greatest nation on Earth.
May we never take for granted the blessings of liberty or forget that freedom is preserved through the service and sacrifice of generations of Americans.
From the Gulf Coast to the Pine Belt, I wish you and your family a safe, joyful, and blessed Fourth of July.
Happy Birthday, America! God bless Mississippi, and God bless the United States of America. 🇺🇸🎆
It was an honor to join folks from across the country on the National Mall for the Great American State Fair as we celebrate America’s 250th birthday.
This milestone is a reminder of the courage, sacrifice, and enduring spirit that have made our nation the greatest in the world. As we look ahead to the next 250 years, may we continue to protect the freedoms and values that define the American dream.

🚨 COMMON SENSE WINS.
The Supreme Court has made it CLEAR: Title IX allows separate women’s and men’s sports based on biological sex.
This is a victory for fairness—and for every female athlete who deserves a level playing field.

It was great meeting with members of AUVSI during their Capitol Hill Day to discuss the growing role of uncrewed maritime systems in strengthening our nation's maritime capabilities.
As Chairman of the Coast Guard and Maritime Transportation Subcommittee, I remain committed to advancing innovation that enhances maritime security, supports our economy, and helps maintain America's leadership on the water.
Thank you for stopping by and sharing your insights on the future of maritime autonomy.

Today, Prime Minister @narendramodi made history in India as he now is the longest serving Prime Minister of India.
Here on the Mississippi Gulf Coast, we recognize India as a key democratic partner and thank the Indian-American community for their contributions to our hospitals, universities, and businesses.

82 years ago, thousands of American heroes stormed the beaches of Normandy to defeat tyranny and defend the free world.
The Greatest Generation changed the course of history through extraordinary courage and selfless sacrifice.
Today, we honor their legacy and vow that their bravery is never forgotten.
Mississippi deserves the same opportunity as Texas and Florida to manage the resources off our coast.
This week, I spoke at @NatResources in support of my Offshore Parity Act, which would extend Mississippi’s offshore boundary from 3 nautical miles to 9 nautical miles and give our state greater authority over marine and fishery resources.
This is about fairness, local control, and supporting the fishermen, coastal communities, and industries that depend on the Gulf of America.
