I’m excited to announce my campaign for Long Beach Mayor. Long Beach provided me with an opportunity to put down roots, build a family, and spend every day making our community a better place for every resident.
Tonight was a good night.
Long Beach is a city on the rise. And we’re just getting started.
The job’s not finished.

Great to hear from @LongBeachMayor @RexRichardson about all the activations Long Beach will be undertaking for their Olympic preparation at our board meeting.
Grateful for the Mayor’s commitment to public safety and a pro #CRE environment so our industry can thrive in LB! #Jobs
We need a candidate for Governor who will commit to working with frontline Mayors to drive strong local and regional economies and build housing, while solving the social issues of our time.
Great cities are what make California thrive.

Great news: Long Beach has been awarded an $11 million Encampment Resolution Grant from the State of California to clean up our riverbed and get our unhoused neighbors into the services they need.
We’ve made great progress with our previous encampment resolution programs, and we’re going to continue focusing on these strategies that we know work.
Thank you to @cagovernor Newsom, our State partners, and @CountyofLA for working with us to bring these resources to bear. We’ll keep you updated—stay tuned.

It’s going to be a long night.
Rest assured, in Long Beach and across California, we will continue to protect our women and girls, our freedoms, and our values, no matter the outcome of the national election.
There is no challenge we can’t overcome, if we work together.
Long Beach voters have spoken, and they are saying Yes to the future we want in our city.
With early returns showing measures LB, JB, and HC with a strong lead, we’re looking forward to a brighter future full of opportunity for all our residents.
Thank you Long Beach!

We have 16 days left to chart a new way forward. Now is our time to build an opportunity economy, where everyone thrives. That’s the promise of America.
