Promised myself I’d keep up with the weekly updates, so here it goes: This week, on @fairscalexyz for business, we listed an additional 7 verified businesses, and next week, we’ve got 3 of our biggest. What struck me was that reputable businesses, want to continue to build and showcase their reputation, which is great! But, the point of being a trust layer is that you help people understand who to trust, AND who not to. The latter is my next challenge - looking at moving away from verified only listings, and onto permissionless, if you’ve had an experience with any business, write them a review, good or bad. Write here on X. That’s the premise, we’ll see when it launches. I also finally finished shipping the FairWidget. For any verified businesses on FairScale, with a trust score above 600, you’ll unlock a free widget to embed on your website (see screenshot), to allow your users to review you, and people who may not yet know you, help make a decision. Outside of business profiles, I’m really really excited for the human credibility side of things. Most bureaus get paid for sharing scores, but we’ll be paying you, every time your score gets checked - one of my favourite random 3am thoughts finally coming to fruition. This week has been one of my favourite for meetings too, really starting to heat up, in what’s going to be our biggest, yet toughest month since January (iykyk), I’ve had the absolute pleasure of meeting: - the team at @projectsolo, to explore human verification in FairScale - the team at @guardis_io to understand how we embed trading behaviour at a token level, into reputation - the one and only @JosipVolarevic2 who’s unsolicited advice opened my eyes a lot - the team at @Experian in one of my most ambitious efforts Having the privilege to speak to mentors like Josip, @simonmolitor and the @craftsdev team this week, makes me extremely excited, and calms the nerves for the month ahead, and for those of you who do make it this far in reading my updates, this’ll probably give you enough of a hint for why I’m excited! Breakpoint is also just a few weeks away, and prep for that is beginning this week, my first as a @SuperteamUK member, fate! Case studies are also huge for us this week, anyone that has worked with us, and we may have added value to, expect a message! Finally, I wanted to give a huge shoutout to my friend over here @palo_pax - he turns up in the discord and telegram every single day, and has been our biggest advocate since day 1. It’s people like him that can sometimes turn that day of ‘this is hard’ to ‘this is worth it, and I will do everything in my power to deliver what I set out to’. He’s recently been shadow banned on X, with no support for a few weeks, so if anyone can help, do shout! I promise, I’ll eventually find a better format for these than just brain dumping onto your feed.

Going to start posting some weekly updates about @fairscalexyz from a founder pov: Last week, we had 14 new businesses in total apply for verification on FairScale for business, which doesn’t seem much, but they were some of my favourites in the space: @loyal_hq, @factmachine, @kurate_finance - which really goes to show that people do care about their own credibility, and a way to showcase trust. What I am working through though, is a way to incentivise users and the wider public, to actually write reviews, without it being gamed. I have a few ideas, and given the whole mechanic around FairScale is that it’s about the credibility network, not just one static point in time, the opportunity is there. Ive been spending a lot of time thinking about how agent credibility ties back to the human that deploys it, as well as how we think similarly to two of my other favourite projects right now, both with the same names! In @motionmkts and @motiongame_ from a human / trader / social point of view. I’ve actually begun to realise, trust is pretty simple. It’s similar to a market, it’s about what people think about you, and who those people are. Same thesis as, something is only worth what someone is willing to pay for it. There’s an idea there. I’ve been able to make our social model at least, significantly more efficient, with a hell of a lot more efficacy just by thinking this way. Finally, we got a sponsored account from @triton_one thanks to @SuperteamUK and the legend in @SteveCleanBrook. Expect to see our models get smarter, faster. I’ve already mapped out streaming, and taken history for our onchain reputation models, significantly further. Meaning what you do, becomes who you are. Without a name.

Had a lot of fun building what I’d like to call the TrustPilot of @solana, but with the credibility of the writer of reviews in mind. A simple world in which a credible person’s word, counts. Any business will soon be able to get one of these widgets, as a signal of trust, written onchain.
