“I saw in Auschwitz that if a dominant group wants to dehumanise others, as the Nazis dehumanise me, the dominant group must first dehumanise themselves, the same holds nowadays for Israel.
I am appalled about how hateful, how dehumanised, that they do not see any human aspect in any Palestinian anymore.
The Zionists have no right whatsoever to use the Holocaust for any purpose, they have given up everything which has to do with humanity and with empathy”

Really looking forward to learning more on this story @MasaKekana
The cameras, mics and blue lights have gone from the streets of Hammanskraal… Still reeling from loss, why are residents forced to keep relying on the deadly water tankers they blame for the outbreak? #CarteBlanche investigates Sunday 7pm on @MNet channel 101. @MasaKekana xitter.cf/carteblanchetv/status/…

The evolving situation in Sudan is truly shocking & as an African just heartbreaking. 56 people confirmed dead so far, we need peace and stability in the region. African political leadership cannot remain in the past while the rest of 🌎 leaves us behind. bbc.com/news/world-africa-65…

Watch the Bheki Cele playbook:
1. Morning TV interview from the scene of the crime.
2. Swoop in with his hat & suit. Tough talk but no action.
3. Arrest a few unknowns & masquerade them in-front of the media.
4. Unknowns get bail.
5. Public outcry dies down.
6. Next

This is so tone deaf, beyond arrogant that they think we in Africa need Matt Hancock to help 1.3 BN people recover from the pandemic, when he couldn’t manage the one in the UK!! The definition of a colonial hangover. Decolonize aid - no, here’s Matty! I’m absolutely gobsmacked.
