🍁To mark the 100th anniversary of the Royal Canadian Legion, the City of Richmond, in partnership with Legion Branch 291, has launched the Veterans Banner Program, a special commemorative project to honour and remember 114 veterans from our community.
The banners were unveiled on Saturday, September 26, installed in early October, and will remain on display through early December 2026. They will be displayed for three consecutive years, through 2028.
Take a moment to look for the banners as you travel around Richmond, and remember the service and sacrifice they represent. 💙
